How To Enter:

STEP #1: POST YOUR ENTRY ON X & PIN IT TO YOUR PROFILE

(From Sept. 2nd through Sept. 30th 11:59PM PST) ***ENDED***

There are two ways to enter. If you are a public elementary school teacher in a Central Time Zone state, you can enter the contest as yourself. If you are not a teacher, you can nominate a public elementary school teacher you admire in one of those states.

Are You a Teacher?

If you are a public elementary school teacher living and teaching in the Central Time Zone, including areas of the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin, and would like to enter the contest, please read below for instructions.

💬 In the text of your post, tell us what grade you teach and the state you're teaching in. Then share your favorite thing about teaching. Include this hashtag somewhere in your post: #DreamVacationFermalife

Example: I teach 4th grade in Missouri. I love teaching because I get to witness moments of growth that change a child’s confidence. Help me win this contest by interacting with this post! #DreamVacationFermalife

🖼️ In the photo part of your post, attach this photo by saving or copying the full-size version. Make sure the image is clear and not pixelated. Do not use a screenshot, as that will reduce quality. If your entry is blurry or pixelated, you may be asked to delete it and repost.

This is an example of what it should look like when you are making your post:

Important: You must pin the entry post for the entire duration of the contest. To pin the post:  Tap the three dots on your post and select ‘Pin to your profile.’ Or, click here for a video and how to.

Nominate a Teacher.

If you are not a teacher but want to nominate a public elementary school teacher teaching in a state in the Central Time Zone: Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Wisconsin, you may submit an entry on their behalf. The prize will go directly to the nominated teacher, not the person submitting the nomination.

💬 In the text of your post, tell us the teacher’s name, the grade they teach, and the state they’re teaching in. Then share why you’re nominating them. If the teacher has an X account, please tag them in your reply. Include this hashtag somewhere in your post: #DreamVacationFermalife

Example: I’d like to nominate Mr. Lopez (@mlopez855). He teaches 2nd grade in Minnesota. I’m nominating him because he always goes above and beyond for his students. Help me win this contest by interacting with this post! #DreamVacationFermalife

FAQs

#1) Can the same teacher have multiple entries?

No. Each teacher is limited to one entry only. Please do not submit multiple entries for the same teacher.

#2) Can I leave multiple comments on an entry to earn more points for the teacher?

No. Multiple comments from the same username will only count once toward points.

#3) Why wasn’t my entry or points counted even though I commented?

X sometimes flags comments as “Probable Spam,” often if the account is new, repetitive, or not verified. Even though we try our best to review comments marked as “Probable Spam,” not all of them are shown to us. If your comment does not appear in our replies, we cannot see it and your entry cannot be counted. This is a platform issue outside our control. For more info on shadow-bans, visit: https://x.com/i/grok/share/zwptkuqtF63bneycwXrySc6uY.

#4) I’m an educator (homeschool teacher, private school teacher, librarian, teacher’s aide, substitute teacher, preschool      teacher, after-school program leader, tutor, etc). Can I enter?

Only public elementary school teachers in Central Time Zone states are eligible for this contest. While we appreciate the important role that all educators play, positions such as homeschool teachers, private school teachers, librarians, teacher’s aides, substitute teachers, preschool teachers, after-school program leaders, and tutors do not qualify.

#5) I’m certified as an elementary school teacher and currently teach an elementary grade level in a middle school. Can I enter?

No. To qualify, you must be actively teaching in a public elementary school within the Central Time Zone. Even if you teach elementary grade levels, being placed in a middle school does not meet the eligibility requirements.

#6) What if my listed state is not fully in the Central Time Zone?

Some states on our eligibility list are only partly in the Central Time Zone. To qualify, you must live and teach in the Central Time Zone portion of your state. For example, most of North Dakota is in the Central Time Zone and eligible, but the southwestern corner of the state follows Mountain Time and is not eligible.

#7) What's the difference between a repost and a pinned repost?

A repost shares someone else’s post to your followers’ timeline. A pinned repost keeps that post at the top of your profile so anyone visiting sees it first, no matter how many new posts you make.

#8) How do I do a pinned repost?

It is quite easy, click here for step by step directions.

#9) I won the contest, but I nominated a teacher. Can I take the Vacation Tour Package instead?

No. If you enter on behalf of a nominated teacher, the prize is awarded only to the nominated teacher. The teacher will need to contact us to complete the claiming process, and the nominator cannot claim the Vacation Tour Package.

#10) What happens if the winning teacher cannot be verified or if the nominator provides incorrect information and the teacher is ineligible?

Only verified public elementary school teachers in Central Time Zone states are eligible. If the winning teacher cannot be verified or is found to be ineligible due to incorrect information provided by the nominator, the prize will be forfeited and void.

#11) Can I choose the exact dates of travel for the vacation package?

Some dates may be blacked out, and availability depends on the travel agency’s schedule. While the agency will do its best to accommodate your preferred dates, certain days may not be available.

#12) What is included in the prize, and are there any additional costs I should be aware of?

Airfare, tips, meals (unless specifically included in the package), tickets and other incidental expenses are generally not included in the prize. Each package on the travel agency’s website has an “Expense Description” section that clearly lists what is included and what is excluded. Winners should review this section carefully to understand any additional costs they may need to cover.
