Official Rules – Fermalife Vacation Tour Package Contest

1. Sponsor

This promotion contest (“Promotion”) is sponsored by Fermalife (dba Fermalife), 1142 S. Diamond Bar Blvd., Diamond Bar, CA 91765 (“Sponsor”).
 

2. Eligibility

• Open only to legal U.S. residents, age 18 or older, who are currently employed as a public elementary school teacher and live and teach in the Central Time Zone portion of the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin.

• Teacher aides, paraprofessionals, administrative staff, librarians, substitutes, homeschool teachers, tutors, preschool teachers, and other non-teaching roles are not eligible.

• Employees of Fermalife, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) or household members are not eligible.

• The Promotion is void outside the eligible states and where prohibited by law.

• Entries submitted by nominators: the prize will be awarded only to the nominated teacher, not the person submitting the nomination.

• To confirm eligibility, participants may be asked to provide proof of employment as a teacher, such as a school ID or other documentation. Submission of such verification is required to claim the prize, and all personal information will be kept confidential and used solely for contest administration.
   

3. Promotion Period

• The Promotion begins September 2, 2025, and ends October 1, 2025 at 11:59 PM PST (“Promotion Period”).

• Winner announcement date: October 1, 2025.
   

4. How to Enter

a. During the Promotion Period (September 2, 2025 through September 30, 2025 at 11:59 PM PST), entrants must create a post on X (formerly Twitter) as either:

• A public elementary school teacher in a Central Time Zone state entering on their own behalf, or

• A nominator submitting an entry on behalf of an eligible public elementary school teacher.
   

b. Each entry post must include:

For teachers entering themselves:

• Teacher’s grade and state (e.g., “I teach 4th grade in Missouri”).

• A short statement about the teacher’s favorite thing about teaching.

• The hashtag #DreamVacationFermalife.

• The contest photo attached in full size (do not use a screenshot; ensure the image is clear and not pixelated).

For nominators submitting on behalf of a teacher:

• Teacher’s name, grade, and state.

• A brief statement explaining why you are nominating this teacher.

• Tag the teacher’s X account if they have one.

• The hashtag #DreamVacationFermalife.

• The contest photo attached in full size (do not use a screenshot; ensure the image is clear and not pixelated).
   

c. Posts must be public with the “everyone can reply” option enabled. Any post that restricts comments, likes, or reposts at any time may be disqualified.
 

d. After posting, entrants must reply to the designated Fermalife X post with a link to their entry to be included. Only links submitted by September 30, 2025 at 11:59 PM PST will be eligible.
 

e. Each X account may submit only one entry per teacher. Multiple entries for the same teacher or from the same account will be disqualified.
 

f. Word limit for entries is restricted to one X post.

 

g. Alternate Method of Entry (AMOE): With no social media accounts, to submit an AMOE entry, participants may email a photo or postcard to support@fermalife.com with the subject line “AMOE: Vacation Contest.” Please include your first and last name, email address, the grade you teach, and the state in which you teach. AMOE entries will be treated fairly and given equal opportunity to win alongside entries submitted via X. All submissions must comply with the general contest rules, and the winner will be determined in a consistent and fair manner.

h. Platform Note: X sometimes flags comments as “Probable Spam,” often if the account is new, repetitive, or not verified. While we may review probable spam, not all comments are visible to us. If your comment does not appear in our replies, it cannot be counted, and any points from friends or family replying to your entry may also not be counted. 5. Prize

• One (1) Grand Prize: Winner’s choice of a Vacation Tour Package from the following destinations:

  • West Coast: Seattle | Portland | San Francisco | Los Angeles

  • East Coast: Boston | New York | Washington DC | Buffalo | Philadelphia | Orlando | Miami

  • Hawaii: View Hawaii Package

  • Canada: Toronto | Vancouver | Calgary

• Packages are subject to the travel agency’s availability and terms.

• The total approximate retail value (ARV) of the prize will not exceed $6,000 USD for up to four family members.

• Prize includes only items explicitly listed in the package description.

• Not included: airfare, tips, meals (unless listed), certain transportation (bus fares, transfers), park admissions, event tickets, or other incidental expenses.

• Travel must be completed within 1 year of contest end date. Blackout dates may apply.

• Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable. Travel dates, blackouts, and availability are subject to the travel agency’s terms and conditions, and the winner is responsible for all expenses not explicitly included in the prize description.
   

6. Winner Notification and Prize Claim

• Winner will be announced on Fermalife’s website or X account on October 1, 2025.

• Winner must contact Fermalife within 24 hours of the announcement to claim the prize. Failure to respond will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

• Winner may be asked to provide proof of employment as a teacher, such as a school ID or other documentation. Submission of such verification is required to claim the prize.
   

7. Taxes and Expenses

All federal, state, and local taxes, as well as any other costs or expenses associated with the prize, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
 

8. Rights Granted by Entrants

By entering, entrants grant Fermalife a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use their name, contest entry, story submission, and any publicly available information related to their teaching role for promotional purposes.
 

9. Points, Verification, and Disqualification

• Winner is determined by the entry with the most points from community engagement on X.

• All entries and nominees are subject to verification. Entries that cannot be verified or are ineligible will be forfeited and void.

• Providing false or misleading information will result in disqualification.

• Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received and the level of community engagement. Each participant may submit only one AMOE entry. Multiple entries for the same teacher or from the same account will be disqualified.
   

10. General Conditions

• Sponsor may cancel, suspend, or modify the Promotion if fraud, technical failures, or other factors beyond its control affect the contest integrity.

• Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify anyone tampering with the entry, voting, or point-earning process.

• Decisions of Sponsor are final in all matters relating to the Promotion.
   

11. Release and Limitation of Liability

By participating, entrants release and hold harmless Fermalife, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims arising out of participation or prize use, including travel-related issues.
 

12. Privacy

Entrant information will be used only to administer the contest and contact winners, in accordance with Fermalife’s privacy policy.

a. This Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with X. Participants release X from any liability in connection with the Promotion.
 

13. Governing Law

The Promotion is governed by California law, without regard to conflict of laws. All disputes will be resolved individually and exclusively in the appropriate court in Los Angeles County, California.
